The suitcase

One day the Adams family was moving to Australia to live. Three months earlier Catherine and William Adams got a million pounds on a scratch card and decided to move to Australia to live. They built a massive mansion with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. So the day of them leaving, a van came to pick up their furniture and possessions. An hour later Mum, Dad, younger brother Oscar, younger sister Jenna and my older sister Olivia and of course me Poppy, got in our red mini and put our five suitcases in the petite boot. We went on the plane. It was so long, twenty four hours felt like a week.

So when we got to Australia we had to drive to Brisbane. When we got to our new home we were all amazed. It had glass windows and a red wooden door. When we got inside, the kitchen was shiny, the lounge was fancy, the garden was amazing, the swimming pool had a jacuzzi and sauna and the dining room was fab. The bedrooms were a different question. Oscar's had a dinosaur bed and tractor wardrobe. Jenna's had a princess bed and butterfly wardrobe. Olivia had a four poster bed, a pine wardrobe and a private bathroom, but I had a ballet shoe bed, a pink wardrobe and a private box that I could put my dance costumes in. Mum and dad had a four poster bed, a flat screen TV and a private bathroom.

Later on I unpacked my suitcase and put it in my wardrobe. I took my dresses out first but then I heard, "Hello my name is Sooty." I asked who it was and it replied, "It's your suitcase, who do you think it is?" but what it said next was a mystery ....
