The Suitcase

A writing competition for students

I saw this random suitcase in the middle of the road, so I quickly went to get it because there were funny noises coming from it. I took it into an alley way and opened it. Inside it was another universe. I saw a leaf so I put the leaf in the suitcase and the leaf just got sucked into the suitcase. I knew I had to go in, so I took a deep breath and jumped straight in. I was flying through the sky thinking I was going to die because of the ground below. I landed in a swimming pool. I got out but I was dry. My clothes weren't wet at all!

Everything in this universe was giant, even the ants. The houses were so big, especially the mansions, the food was big, which was brilliant. The phones were big, bigger than the iPhone 6. Just then I realised than I was massive. I looked around and there were so many suitcases leading into more universes. There was this one world that only had trampolines in it.

There were these policemen coming towards me saying, "You're under arrest." I ran away because I knew I didn't do anything wrong. I jumped into the trampoline universe because I knew it would be fun. I managed to lose the police. I had some fun but then I knew I had to go to work so I jumped out of this universe and went back into my universe, the one I came from.

I took the suitcase home with me after work and kept it in my room so I could go back to the trampoline world.
