The Suitcase

I was heading on holiday and to make myself satisfied I packed my, well everything. I found that I couldn’t fit everything in so I pushed it, sat on it, jumped on it and even rolled on it, but it wouldn't budge. There was one thing I hadn’t tried, standing on it and it worked. I had zipped this monster up. Suddenly, out of the blue, it started tossing and as if it was like a person in bed having a nightmare and wasn’t getting to sleep. I started to scream like I’d never screamed before. This was a nightmare. My suitcase had become a monster, literally. I tried dodging it but it was too quick to what I thought was a mythical creature in some crazy way. I felt the goose bumps on my arms rise as it came closer to me…

I felt two pairs of sharp teeth on my leg; I suddenly fell to the ground, as blood loss took over me. I sat up timidly as emotionless loss was how I was going to end this horror of a day, it was over……

Not exactly. My mum heard me fall heavily to the ground. She came charging in, oddly with a chainsaw; but that was good enough. She cut the suitcase in half, partly saving my life. The other part of saving me was the blood loss which she luckily could do.

I’m lucky to be here and couldn’t have done it without her!
