Write Stuff

The Suitcase

A writing competition for students

I found a suitcase in the loft. When you pushed a button on the inside a compartment would open with a mini handgun inside. My Dad was a robber so he used it a lot but he died in an explosive accident. It had grenade holders and a pull-out missile launcher. My Mum now uses it, I don’t know what she uses it for.

One time, we lost it in an airport and my Mum was running around trying to find it. I ran behind wondering what all the fuss was about. We did find it in the end but half the stuff was gone. There was a timer and once it went off a deadly gas would spread in the room.

When I was a child I nearly died of it. I now go to Beechwood school in Guernsey with my foster family.

It’s my birthday today and I can’t wait to open my presents! I’m so happy! I’m so excited, I got pancakes for breakfast. I went down into the cellar to try and find my presents but I found the suitcase… there was a sudden hiss and I blacked out.
