The Suitcase

A writing competition for students

It was the kind of night that you think you're in a horror film, as the thunder and lightning came closer and closer to the brand new house that people thought was haunted. On that night two boys, a girl and their mother came to the door with the dad and baby, trying not to wake it up or get it wet in the rain.

Once inside, they put the suitcases in their rooms. They looked for something to do while the pizza man brought the family's first meal in the house. One of the boys found the television and the remote for the actual television but they didn't have batteries so it was a bit useless, but they got down on their knees and tried to get the correct channel for family films. But all they could find was some random news channels that had shows about murders and brand new horror films. So the boys decided that they would unpack, but when they got to their room, the oldest boy's suitcase was gone. So he looked in the cupboard but it wasn't there, he looked in the drawers and it wasn't there either.

After a bit of thinking he thought of asking his mum if she took it, but she said she didn't know, that he had put it in his room. So the boy started to cry because all of his things and belongings were in it.

The next day he woke up to a bed full of clothes and all the clothes were his. He was so confused and the suitcase was there too!!!!
